Toke Makinwa

The 1in3 Campaign against domestic violence spearheaded by Her Royal Majesty Olori Wuruaola Ogunwusi, kicked off on the 30th of June 2017 with a rally that drew the support of women across the country. Front and center of the campaign were Tonto Dikeh, Mercy Aigbe Gentry and Toke Makinwa to speak out against the injustice meted out to women in abusive marriages.
Other notable faces who joined the walk were Biola Okoya, Foluke Daramola, Sola Shobowale, Annie Idibia, Taofeek Okoya and many others. The rally which spanned from Falomo roundabout, Ikoyi to the end of Akin Adesola street, Victoria Island, drew the attention of Lagosians and media outlets as they canvassed for the cause.
